LOCAL GOODS MARKET een initiatief van Pakhuis de Zwijger i.s.m. Indie Brands® Pakhuis de Zwijger organiseert sinds april 2014 in samenwerking met Indie Brands® de Local Goods Market in De Hallen in Amsterdam West. Op de markt worden lokale producten uit Amsterdam en omgeving verkocht: food & non-food. Van fietsen, kleding, brillen en tassen tot lampen, meubels en fotoboeken, maar ook homemade worsten, bier, chocola en thee. Pakhuis de Zwijger Pakhuis de Zwijger is het onafhankelijke platform in Amsterdam waar creatieven uit stad en regio elkaar ontmoeten en ervaringen uitwisselen over hun artistieke producten, het maakproces en ondernemerschap. Sinds Pakhuis de Zwijger haar deuren in september 2006 opende, is het initiatief uitgegroeid tot het huis van de creatieve industrie met een hechte community die frequent samenkomt voor lezingen, portfolionights, workshops en ontwerpsessies. Onder de noemer Nieuw Amsterdam - stad in transitie wordt verder geprogrammeerd op de urgente en complexe stedelijke opgaven van deze tijd. Hoofdthema’s zijn sociale innovatie, nieuwe economie, disruptieve technologie, circulaire stad en democratische vernieuwing, met als onderliggende vraag: van wie is de stad? Indie Brands® Indie Brands® duikt in de wereld van onafhankelijke merken die inspireren en een verhaal vertellen. Het toont de creatieve mensen achter het merk en de producten. De bedrijven variëren in grootte - van eenmanszaak tot middelgroot. Maar als echte indie brands delen ze drie belangrijke kenmerken: ze zijn onafhankelijk, ze hebben een verhaal dat het waard is om te delen en ze begrijpen de magie van marketing. Pakhuis de Zwijger (Warehouse de Zwijger) Pakhuis de Zwijger is an independent non-profit platform for inspiring meetings and unexpected crossovers where creatives from the city, professionals and amateurs, meet and exchange experiences. Since it opened its doors in September 2006, Pakhuis de Zwijger has become the home for the creative industy, with a tight community, that frequently comes together for lectures, portoflionights. workshops and designsessions. Programmes are developed around urgent and complex urban topics under the name New Amsterdam – city in transition. Head topics aresocial innovation, new economy, disruptive technology, circular city and democratic innovation. The underlying question always being: to whom does the city belong Indie Brands® Indie Brands® delves into the world of independent brands that inspire and tell a story.
