Hello Yogis, A little bit about Locavore Yoga.... In the Summer of 2012, I was catapulted out of London back to living on my family farm after the passing of my dear mother. Not really a hardship, all thing considered, but a massive change from London life and running my catering business up there. I’m enjoying country life immensely and embracing a more natural, and in tune with nature, way of living. I have a wonderful team here to help me, an abundant vegetable garden and some well-laying chickens to feed me! Luckily for me, a change happened in November 2011 when I finally began to understand the benefits of yoga after a few failed attempts. Through gentle encouragement from my friend Monica, a fun yoga teacher in London, I began a journey from which I shall never look back! Here at Langston Farm, I have the perfect light and sunny room for yoga, as well as a beautiful orchard for outdoor classes when the weather is appropriate! There are lots of plans for the future, including yoga retreats with lunch sourced and cooked from the garden and kitchen of http://lovealocavore.com/ At present, I have one yoga teacher - Cristina Magalhaes , who runs http://www.theyogabunch.com/. Cristina is Senior Yoga Alliance accredited and is a well-respected teacher at the renowned Daylesford Hay Barn. On occasion, we have guest teachers too. Current classes are as follows:- - Wednesdays 11.30am - 12.30pm 6.30pm - 8pm - Thursdays 6.30pm - 7.30pm Please look at both Cristina’s website for more info about her route to teaching, and contact me for any more information or if you would like to make a booking.
