I'm a fully qualified and insured LOLER inspector based in Brighton East Sussex but cover the Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, Surrey and London area. I offer a thorough examination of arboricultural equipment as required by the lifting operations and lifting equipment regulations (LOLER) 1998 and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work at height The requirements of LOLER came into place in December 1998 and apply to employers, the self-employed and people in control of or managing operations which involve lifting. LOLER is aimed at ensuring that all lifting operations are properly planned, that lifting equipment is used in a safe manner and that lifting equipment is thoroughly examined at suitable intervals by a competent person. I can provide you with all necessary paperwork signed off and a hard copy for your records and I will notify you when your equipment is due for another thorough examination I can offer advice on LOLER and provide you with Interim inspection sheets for your ongoing collection of data I can highlight to you in my report any equipment nearing the end of its lifespan and give advice on new kit buys The price of an inspection is £50 per kit but there is scope for a reduction if several kits are to be inspected at the same time and I can come to you to inspect your kits (depending on distance to kit ratio.
