We are part of a larger family of programs that make up our Southern California Chapter. We have house locations in Los Angeles, Pasadena, Loma Linda, Orange County, and Bakersfield, two Ronald McDonald Family Room programs, and a Camp program. The dream of a new Ronald McDonald House is now a reality in our community. The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House sits on the campus of Long Beach Memorial, improving access to vital health care services offered at Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach and other southeast Los Angeles County health care facilities. The Long Beach Ronald McDonald House offers 23 guest rooms, a living room and open-air courtyard, plus a dining room and kitchen. For young family members, there is a children’s room and outdoor tot lot. Families will enjoy a garden, patio, barbeque area and the conveniences of a laundry facility, pantry and fully-equipped computer room. Additionally, the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House will provide families with the comfort of being surrounded by those who understand and can relate to the ordeal of having a seriously ill child.

Description

Simply put ... we're a "home away from home" for families with seriously ill children being treated at Miller Children's and other local area hospitals.

We opened our doors to the first families in December, 2011. Please contact us to learn more about ways how you can become involved with us. We have many ways you can help our mission. Thank you for your support of the families and children served by the LBRMH – we’re glad you’re here! We welcome your thoughts, comments, suggestions and questions about LBRMH. As you can see there are lots of inspiring people supporting LBRMH and wonderful stories to share. While our ultimate goal is to have open dialogue with our fans, we know that there just isn’t enough time in the day to respond to every post. We also know that some of the best dialog is that which happens between our friends and supporters; just like in our Ronald McDonald Houses!
