With courage and proper training, our vast array of colors can shine more brightly and land us the roles we seek. The curriculum at Los Angeles Actor’s Institute is designed to prepare the artist for auditioning, writing and acting for the stage and film. Gary Austin is the founder and original director of The Groundlings. Over the past 40 years, he has cultivated a list of actors, writers, directors and producers who credit their success to his teachings. As a master acting teacher, he is likened to a fine sculptor who chips away at what is not your most authentic form to reveal a three dimensional, more truthful you. He uses his tools to help you craft yourself into a distinct work of art.
