Our names Louise and Martyn we're fully registered childminders living in Duffryn with a DBS (CRB). We live with our fantastic four, 3 of which are in full time education and our cat Ronnie, tortoise Marmite and Bichon x Yorkshire Terrier Gryff We're passionate about messy play, creative play including homemade play-dough, slime etc. and baking! Getting outdoors - come rain or shine! Reading stories in fun ways like going on a bear hunt in the local woods and searching for that Gruffalo! There's a large front garden to our home which is child centered with a muddy kitchen and sand play (yummy gooey mess)! We believe if a child is returned all clean and shiny, they haven't had a great day! We have a dedicated playroom which is inviting, bright and cheerful. We're perfectly situated to the M4 corridor, the A48 and also the old road way to Cardiff and the convenience of living close to lovely parks, and other local amenities. Can do nursery runs and also school drop offs and pick-ups and if parents make arrangements for welsh school transports we can arrange to collect from bus stops. Experience: Have worked as a childcare practitioner more than 10 years and parents to 4 children aged between 3-14 years (three being in full time education). We both have experience of crèche work, play-work and teaching assistance including special needs. Happy to change 'real nappies' also well versed in the adventures of Baby-led weaning. Help with potty training. We are massive believers in positive reinforcement and helping young children learn about choice and consequence. Qualifications: Registered with CSSIW Childminding Diploma CACHE Level 3 & 4 Diplomas in Child Care Learning & Development Paediatrics First Aid Health & Hygiene Level 2 Safeguarding Including many more *Full driving license with business insurance. *Full Liability Insurance. DBS (Formally known as CRB) Availability: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 6pm (with flexibility offered) * Please note that the full fee is payable whilst your child attends playgroup or nursery. This is to ensure your child’s place during school holidays and nursery closures. *Contracts are designed to each families personal needs. *Offers available for full day contracts which can be discussed in person. Included: - All snacks and drinks. - Transfer to and from schools, nursery etc. - Toddler/Playgroups. - Purchase of toys, craft materials/activity resources, business paperwork etc. - Insurances and membership to relevant organisations (PACEY) etc. - Relevant training, i.e. first aid.
