Finished my week with a very hot and tired 56 mile cycle up to my mum's this afternoon. That's 190 miles cycled, 35 miles run and swimming... Well I got in twice! 21 hours of training this week and I am very ready for my rest day tomorrow. Shut up legs! #ironman #rest day

So proud of my super client Jetta for finishing her first ever triathlon today at the Mid Sussex tri. She trains so hard and is a real inspiration having come a long way since having knee surgery last year. She is even still smiling finishing the run! Well done Jetta! #proudtrainer

So excited to have met one of my crazy adventuring heroes Sean Conway this morning along the seafront on his extreme ultra triathlon round the entire coast of the U.K. Having ridden over 3000 miles on his bike to Scarborough, he finished his run to Brighton this morning and starts swimming to Lulworth Cove in Dorset tomorrow. What a legend!

"34 million Britons spent £10 BILLION in 2002 trying to lose weight..... 1 in 100 succeeded in keeping the weight off" Just read this statistic, this was 14 years ago and it has only got worse. Food for thought. Moral: Stop spending money on fad diet products and start making sustainable LIFESTYLE changes that will last for the rest of your life, benefit your health and won't waste your money.
3 days on exercise referral course has officially frazzled my brain! Great course which has given me lots of new ideas so watch this space over next few months! Cycling through London every day has certainly given me a new appreciation of living in lovely Brighton, I won't complain about traffic again for a while (well, maybe,for this week anyway!)
