The 2nd Lucky's Sandwich Co. to open in Chicago (St. Paddy's Day, 2011), Lucky's on Maxwell St. is smack in the middle of the action in University Village. Located one block east of Halsted St. we offer the same food menu as our Wrigleyville and Wicker Park locations and have a full bar for you to enjoy as well. We are Chicago's home of the overstuffed sandwich. First, we take an oversized Italian loaf of bread (baked special for us) and slice it into thick slices. Then choose your favorite sandwich meats and cheeses, which we heat up and top with our home cut French fries, our signature vinaigrette coleslaw and fresh tomatoes. Next, top with another slice of bread and voila! You have the biggest, tastiest sandwich in town! If you think you have the guts, try the Lucky's challenge and make our wall of fame. You just have to polish off 3 sandwiches in 1 hour! With a laid-back ambience to enjoy, unique food to munch on, great drink specials, and a very friendly staff to make any and everybody feel welcome, we invite you to come out for a visit.
