Educational Nonprofit Agency based in Washington D.C. and operating fourteen regional offices throughout the nation. LNESC manages the LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF) in partnership with its parent organization, the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). Operating in Dallas since 1999, LNESC has served thousands of students through a mix of services designed to promote post-secondary education and leadership skill development.

General Info

LNESC currently provides programs such as the Upward Bound Program (UB) serving students at L.G. Pinkston and Sunset High Schools. Additionally, LNESC Dallas provides services programs such as the GM "Growing With You" Program designed to motivate Middle School students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medical (STEMM) careers. LNESC offers many other smaller programs and is open to exploring partnerships to enhance opportunities for the students that we serve.

Sunset LULAC Youth Council's first volunteering event, Cena En El Barrio, will be held on December 14, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. at the North Texas Food Bank. Cena En el Barrio is a annually event that aims to package and distribute cans and other food items to families in the Dallas area. All students who are interested and need a ride please arrive at the LULAC LNESC center at 7:30 a.m. If anyone would like to participate please contact the LULAC LNESC center as soon as possible!
