Made in Common is proud to announce the establishment of Bendigo’s first shared creative space, launched in March 2015. A collaboration between Lucy Armstrong of Portable Projects, Hairdressing by Georgie Armstrong and Alisha Weekley and Erica Cadzow Leon Schoots from Whiskey and Wolf and Leon Schoots Photography. Made in Common is committed to providing a creative escape from the everyday, with an opportunity to see craftspeople at work and to commission unique products and services. Located in Central Bendigo on the second floor of Brewhouse Coffee Roasters, Made in Common will bring together the best of local and international design and offer a variety of services by talent local designers and artists. Services will include photography, textile design, hairdressing and a leather workshop. Made in Common will also host a unique retail space stocking independent clothing and jewellery and beautifully hand crafted goods with an eye for good design. At Made in Common we believe products should be made with care and designed to last with services and goods provided in a relaxed yet professional manner inviting the customer to engage with the makers and the stories of where these unique products come from. We welcome you to come and visit us at this inviting and memorable space.
