The Madison Avenue Sports Car Driving and Chowder Society formed in March 1957, meets the second Tuesday of the month at Sardi's in New York City, and provides the perfect vehicle for people involved in the automotive industry, either as a profession, or simply because they are passionate about sports cars. MASCDCS luncheons regularly attract prominent industry figures, competition drivers, and executives as speakers. The Society is famous for its unusual events, such as the race through Manhattan that pitted five famous racing drivers in Ferraris against five New York taxi drivers in their cabs. The MASCDCS is headed by Bruce Wennerstrom, founder and chairman of the Greenwich Concours d'Elegance.
