Madison EMS Community Training: Madison EMS offers a wide range of American Heart Association CPR & AED as well as first aid courses for all age groups. These courses are taught by experienced EMTs and Paramedics. for more info please visit http://madisonambulance.org/community.php General Questions Q: What hospitals can I be transported to? A: Madison EMS transports patients to the closest appropriate hospital. Hospitals that Madison EMS may transport to include: • Middlesex Hospital • Middlesex Hospital Shoreline Medical Center • Yale-New Haven Hospital • Yale-New Haven Hospital Shoreline Medical Center • Yale-New Haven Hospital, Saint Raphael Campus • Veterans Administration Hospital - West Haven Campus Please note that no EMS provider shall take a trauma patient meeting the criteria as determined by the field triage protocols to a hospital other than the facility identified by either protocol or medical direction. A patient meeting Trauma criteria in Madison will be transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital. Q: Can you transport me to my doctor's office? A: Madison Ambulance is a 9-1-1 only service which means that our service only transports patients to a hospital emergency department.
