RABIES!! There have been two cases of rabies so far this fall. A raccoon and a skunk have both tested positive in Morgan County. Please make sure all of your dogs and cats are vaccinated. Bravo, KONG voluntarily recall products due to contamination concerns Bravo is voluntarily recalling some lots of its Bravo Turkey and Chicken pet foods for dogs and cats because of the potential for salmonella contamination. According to the recall notice published on the FDA website, the recalled products were distributed nationwide to distributors, retail stores, Internet retailers, and directly to consumers beginning on Nov. 12, 2013. KONG is recalling some of its Jumbo Aussie Sticks dog treats due to potential mold contamination. According to news reports, the recalled treats were sold only at PetSmart and can be returned to PetSmart locations for a refund.

Construction on I20 may make it difficult to get the East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic (in Covington) this weekend. We hope that you won't need their services! But, if you do, try exiting the highway at the Almond Rd. exit and taking 278 West to avoid some hassles.
