Life can sometimes bring us experiences that may seem overwhelming and even beyond our control. These experiences, if left to their own devices, can have an impact on our general well being. When faced with these circumstances, many individuals decide to "go it alone" for fear of being judged. Others try to repress their emotions and convince themselves that everything is "OK". Yet, something deep inside us knows that everything is not all right. Therapy can help you deal with these issues and set you on a path of recovery. By working together, I can help you achieve your goals. I have over 10 years of experience providing individual therapy to youth, adults and seniors, with diverse backgrounds and experiences. I am specialized in the area of Trauma, PTSD and dissociation, Sexual abuse, depression, grief, shame, and low self-esteem issues, anxiety, stress and anger management, sleep insomnia, women issues, youth issues, and suicidal ideation. I offer a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment that focuses on addressing your needs . I believe that the best way to achieve results in therapy is to build a strong therapeutic relationship. Once trust and security established, I can help guide you through some of your more difficult memories and start the healing process.

Can't say it enough...Many people think that a suicide attempt is a selfish move because the person just does not care about the people left behind. I can tell you that when a person gets to that point, they truly believe that their loved ones will be much better off with them gone. This is mental illness not selfishness. TRUTH: Depression is a terrible disorder and seems relentless. A lot of us have been close to that edge, or dealt with family members in a crisis, and some have lost friends and loved ones. Let's look out for each other and stop sweeping mental illness under the rug. Share this to give a moment of support to all those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares. Thank you!
