How To Get to Main Street Market
What is Main Street Market? We are a decentralized urban farm. We seek to improve the connection between eaters, farmers, the local economy and the environment. We offer a veggie basket a week in our Summer CSA. We also have a Winter CSA. In addition: * we provide catering for a variety of occasions * we support local food programs and community gardening, and provide hands-on agricultural and nutrition education and training How it works Main Street Market supplies a variety of local produce, for fresh use and storage. We offer two sizes of basket; a full and half share. If you love vegetables and are feeding a family, the full is for you. If you need to feed 1-2 people a half share might suit. You can also split a full share with friends/family. We also have Ten and Fifteen flexi-basket option available in both share sizes. You pick the dates you want a basket in advance and only get your share those weeks. If you are unable to pickup, maybe Green Delivery would suit you? Your share can be delivered to your (downtown) home by bicycle. You will be supplied with vegetables from May until October, and be first on the list for an extended share, or Wintershare. We will also supply sourcing details, recipes, and storage tips to help you get to know your harvest. Key messages Main Street Market welcomes collaborators, interns, and folks who’d like to work for their share of vegetables.
