Welcome to Makers of History. Makers of History provide high quality Living History education experiences to primary schools. Two characters in authentic costume will spend the day with your class and use a combination of role-play, scripted drama and hands-on activities to fully immerse children in key historical periods. We provide a reasonably priced full day of content that covers National Curriculum targets in a way that your children will find exciting and unforgettable. No need for expensive coach travel and complex risk assessments! We can also give advice on authentic costume and food for your ‘History Day’. Click on the ‘Roman Day’ or ‘Tudor Day’ links above for detailed examples of what we offer. Makers of History is a company formed by two highly experienced Living History interpreters. They are both qualified historians and in the last six years have worked with thousands of school children, delivering education programmes at historic houses, museums, archaeological sites and local authority heritage events.
