MFL are able to offer a full mechanical service of inspection and repair supported by our Fabrication division. Services include:Precision Machining and Engineering •Turning (3M*1.2M capacity) •Milling •Horizontal Boring •Slotting MFL carry out machining of a wide range of materials. Many materials are available from stock or are available next day from our supply chain. Standard Materials include: •Carbon Steel •Stainless Steel •EN8,16, 24T •Aluminium •Copper •Brass •Bronze •Nylon With the addition of new CNC machining equipment including turning and milling we can now offer competitive quotations on single or multiple quantities to the highest standard. Welding MFL have a range of skilled tradesmen to carry out welding services. Welding can be carried out at our fabrication workshops or on site dependent on customer requirements. Welding Services Include; •Mig Welding; Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Aluminium. •MMA Welding: Mild Steel and Stainless Steel. •TIG Welding; Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Copper. Coded welders can be supplied and qualified to customer specified procedures for specific contracts. The machines are manufactured under licence from Transpread and Landrive and range from 3000kg -12000kg capacity. Many machines are used by contractors for large farms or salt spreading contracts for the Highways Agency. MFL are proud to be associated with Kelvin Cave Ltd who are the sole distributer of MFL's crushers in the UK market. MFL have many years experience in the manufacture of agricultural rolling mills for large farm and contractor use. The crusher is used to roll agricultural grains producing a flat rolled product ideal for animal feed

Our address is: Mallinson Fabrications Limited Station Road Dalston Carlisle Cumbria CA5 7LT Driving Directions Leave the M6 at junction 42. From the roundabout follow the signposts for Dalston. Staggered crossroads at Durdar-Black Lion pub on the right - go straight over. Approx. 3 miles to Dalston. At the T junction turn right for Dalston village. Continue on main road through Dalston square (Church on the right). Take the next road off to the left, signposted for Barras Lane Industrial Estate. Take the 3rd turning on the right signposted for MFL. We also have Dalston Train Station located right next to us.
