Mission The Management Consulting Club (MCC) strives to develop and strengthen the relationships between undergraduate and graduate students of Concordia University and consulting firms. We aim to educate students about various opportunities in the consulting field through information sessions and networking events. Our mandate is to attract, retain and prepare talented and passionate Concordians to pursue career in Consulting, by offering them all the tools, training-sessions and real-life situations. What is Consulting industry? Management Consulting is a booming field, where all you need is a good brain and a laptop. Consulting is the practice of creating value for organisations, helping companies improve their performance and grow by solving problems and finding new and better ways of conducting business. Consultants work in both private and public sector and help provide innovative solutions for today’s challenges. What do Consultants do? The job of consultant is to come up with the most comprehensive, data-driven insights to take organisations further than they would go on their own. The goal of the consultant is to help the client make decisive changes to their business to increase revenues, reduce costs, develop strategic direction -acquisitions/divestitures/partnerships, help with organizational design and much more. Consultants work across all areas of business – from strategy and marketing, to IT and finance.
