Kieran Markham - Personal Trainer, Boxing Coach and just all around nice guy! So as you might have guessed my name is Kieran and I'm a Personal Trainer and in case you're not psychic here's a little bit about me: - I LOVE sport; whether it’s playing it, watching it, or talking about it. Ever wanted to get fitter, faster or stronger for a specific sport? I can help – sports specific training is one of my specialities! - Believe it or not, I was teased for being overweight when I was in school. That led me to seek help, change my lifestyle and start eating better and training harder. From personal experience, I know that we all start somewhere. This could be you too. -For my personal goals, I love lifting weights and getting a good grunt on (grunting makes you stronger, it's science). I do like to make people lift heavy weights from time to time, but I love most styles of training and will tailor the best training regime to your goals. I firmly believe that a solid foundation of strength can help EVERYONE live a healthier and more productive life. - Mobility is my passion. For those of you who don’t know what mobility is – It is being able to help you move better, do more things in life, and live pain free. That is what I really love doing ☺ - I spent several years as a Boxing Coach at the Wally Bates Memorial Boxing Club (WBMBC). As well as being a coach, I proudly put the gloves on and represented the club competitively. Have you ever thought of boxing for fun or fitness? Have you ever wanted to learn new skills to fight in the ring? Get in contact with me and we can arrange some sessions in or outdoors. - I currently play football (Aussie Rules) for the mighty Swan Athletic Football Club, this really helps my understanding of the sport and if you are looking to get that bit fitter, faster and stronger for the sport then I can really help. My previous work with WBMBC led to a role working with injured players for Swan Districts Football Club’s male and female football teams. I have also played several seasons of field hockey and I surf too, pretty cool hey ;) So yeah that should give you a rough idea of who I am. I could go on a whole spiel about training philosophies but seriously are you still reading? This could get a whole lot longer if I start having a yarn about that.. But that's a topic best saved for later!
