History Lesson: On lower Queen Anne, the 1920 Kuay Garage (later the Marqueen Garage) stood on Queen Anne Avenue between Roy and Mercer streets. It was home to the Seattle Engineering School and one of the largest repair garages (built to house 200 autos) in the city before conversion to apartments (now the Marqueen Hotel).
