Description

I have been involved in the education industry in various capacities for over 14 years, and am offering services in lecturing, teaching, training, and research. I am a psychologist by training and have teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; additionally, I am currently working on a level 8 (PhD) research project, and I am currently branching out into teaching in F.E. and school environments. My H.E. teaching experience includes psychology at levels 4, 5, 6 and 7; anatomy and physiology at level 4; and the psychology of sport and exercise at level 4. My school and F.E. teaching abilities include psychology at levels 2 and 3; and personal training and exercise & fitness instruction at level 2. My private sector experience includes training and development in retail, hospitality, police and FMCG organisations, for large organisations and well-known brands. I have a First Class Honours Psychology degree; I have a Masters degree in Occupational (Business) Psychology; I have part completed a Higher Degree by Research (level 8 - PhD) in the psychology of emotion and its relation to microexpressions and lie detection; I have part-completed an F.E. course in teaching in the lifelong learning sector (PTLLS); I have a level 2 diploma in instructing exercise and fitness; I am a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS); I am qualified to Level A for Psychometric Testing and am on the Psychological Testing Centre's (PTC) register of qualified test users (RQTU); I am an Afilliate member of the Institute for Learning (IfL). I hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate. I work mostly on short-term contracts but will consider all contract types, from single sessions to longer-term contracts. I am location-independent and will consider work anywhere in the UK and abroad.
