With it's roots in St. Catharines, Martindale Dental has embarked on an expansion plan to bring high quality, convenient and customer friendly dentistry to other markets in Ontario. In August of 2013, Dr. John Bembenek sold his practice to the Martindale Dental group. Dr. Bembenek always placed his patients as his top priority, and a career which spanned over four decades is a testament to this fact. Dr. Ken Wong (a graduate of University of Toronto Dental School) is now the lead dentist at our downtown Burlington location. Dr. Ken Wong, DDS graduated from Queen’s University in 1986 with a bachelors in life sciences, he then went on to continue his education at the University of Toronto and in 1990 completing his dentistry degree. He received the honors award in endodontics. Dr. Wong is committed to continuing education and is completing his residency program which focuses on implant dentistry. He is a committed member of the RCDSO, Ontario Dental Association and Burlington Dental Association. We are pleased to also announce that Dr. Jaclyn Glick (Periodontist - Columbia University 2013) has joined the team in Burlington. Dr. Glick is a specialist in treating gum disease and implant therapy. She has a particular interest in the link between periodontal disease and systemic diseases including diabetes and heart disease. All of our specialists are available to see without a referral.
