Located in York's famous Food Quarter, Fossgate and occupying the former premises of George Mason Modern Grocer, Masons is a Bar and Bistro set in comfortable, informal surroundings. With many of the original features still in place lending character and interest, come and give us a try whether you are looking for a few drinks or quality food. Food is Bistro themed serving grilled steak and chicken, together with salads, skewers, sharers, vegetarian dishes and daily specials, complemented with a selection of varying desserts. We also serve a selection of bottled and draught beers, spirits, wines and champagnes together with hot and soft beverages. Our food is sourced from local bakers, butchers and grocers and cooked fresh on the premises.
