Description

Jaime J Lunn is a skilled and talented stylist with over 17 years experience. Her areas of expertise includes custom cuts, color, and special occasion hair. Friendly and accessible, Jaime listens to the preferences of her clients and knows how to create striking and personalized styles. While able to deliver beautiful, classic looks, her versatility keeps her on the cutting edge of hair fashions. Clientele include men and women from the corporate world with more conservative styles, Newport socialites with glamorous looks, and spans out toward tho more artistic sphere of rock and roll musicians. Additionally, her extensive background and talent in special occasion hair has made her popular as a stylist for brides and wedding parties. Jaime's education began at Richard's Beauty College of Huntington Beach, where she was one of the first students to be involved in the Apprenticeship Program and was awarded first place at an updo competition held at the school and judged by a prominent Beverly Hills stylist and salon owner. She continued her training as an assistant at William Roberts Salon of Long Beach before graduating to the floor and earning her chair. During this time, Jaime trained under the owner, a member of the Long Beach Hairdresser's Guild and former co-owner of The Long Beach Hair Show. In her pursuit of further advanced training she assisted and received training under stylists and teachers from Toni & Guy, Allen Edwards, Jose Eber and Bumble & Bumble at Salon Gregories of Newport Beach. Jaime continues to seek out education to date in order to keep her skills sharp and current. In Newport, she was elected to the Educational Committee as the Head Assistant. After graduating to the floor and receiving her own chair, she led updo classes for assistants and represented Salon Gregories at charity events and as an Artistic Team Member. She soon became one of the most referred special occasion hair artists at the salon, also working on models for fashion shows and season premier parties for the HBO series Deadwood and Rome. She eventually joined the Koru Salon team in downtown Long Beach, which then combined forces with Sanctuary Salon of Belmont Heights were she became Creative Director. She then became the Lead Stylist at The Loft on Broadway which was featured on the Bravo TV series Tabathas Salon Takeover. While Jaime was unable to attend the shooting of the TV program because of a prior commitment in Europe, she reunited with the crew of The Loft determined to help educate the Jr staff. Jaime has now found a home with the fantastic staff @ Spa Sidney Beauty Lounge and is very excited about her future at this lovely little Spa/Salon. Jaime is skilled in creating artistic displays with excellent attention to detail. She designs looks that are chic, funky, and always beautiful.
