They don't really hate maths, they just weren't given the opportunity to understand something that they got stuck on. Teachers have limited time and have to move with the average student. All children deserve the chance to succeed in mathematics. It is one of those subjects that can be likened to building a wall: you can't skip the foundations, and you need to understand each level before you can move on to the next successfully. If you find it difficult to help your child with their learning of maths, I am here to offer that support. Reasonable rates. Discounts for 'block bookings'. Also offered: Budgeting assistance for those who struggle with managing their day to day living expenses - this can be whatever you require, whether it be a simple health check, or a more comprehensive list of what you need to pay and when. I hold an undergraduate Certificate in Mathematics & am working towards a BSc Mathematics & Statistics, so I fully understand the difficulties that can present themselves as a student. Many hours of studying the same concepts until that 'lightbulb' moment has helped me hone my skills & ability to support others. Not only do I possess skills in Mathematics, I also have experience within retail banking, and a keen interest in helping others straighten out their finances.
