What Are Eyelash Extensions? Eyelash Extensions are a popular virtually weightless product that lengthens and thickens your own natural lashes. They are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved and look just like your natural lash. They are applied to each individual eyelash with a specially designed bonding agent. They will not damage your own lashes but leave you with a beautiful yet natural and luscious look. They are perfect for that special occasion or for day-to-day wear. Who can wear them? As long as your own lashes are at least three millimetres long, you can get extensions. What products do you use? Xtreme Lashes® by Jo Mousselli. www.xtremelashes.ca Will the application damage my natural lashes? Absolutely NOT! Eyelash extensions are applied on your own natural eyelashes by gluing one synthetic lash extension to one of your natural lashes (without touching your skin) with medical grade glue exclusively for eyelash extensions. When your natural lash sheds, the extension will fall out with that lash. How long will my extensions last? When applied properly, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Just like hair, eyelashes grow and fall out. Everyone's experience will differ based on day to day activities but over all touchups should only be required approximately every 3 to 4 weeks. Can I still wear mascara? Yes, even though mascara is not really required since the extensions actually give the illusion of wearing mascara it can be worn. It must however be applied from the middle to the tip.
