Description
Tax-deductible contributions to help fund the care and maintenance of the McKinley Rose Garden can be made through Friends of East Sacramento (FOES is a 501c3 non-profit organization) at www.friendsofeastsac.org or by mail to Friends of East Sacramento, 3104 O St. #222 Sac., CA 895816, call 452-8011 or email friendsofeastsac@aol.com. We strive to improve and maintain this historic public garden through nonprofit management and private funding when the city has been unable to use its own resources. The rose selection during the recent renovation 2009- the present are disease resistant, and do not require spraying, hence this garden is organically cared for which is environmentally and river friendly. The roses from 2009- today were gifted from the members of the Sacramento Rose Society.
