Meridia Community Credit Union was founded by employees of Hamburg Central Schools and chartered in 1955. Throughout the decades, we have grown to a credit union of over 5,000 members. Our goal is to serve all of our members with respect and integrity - every member counts. Unlike other financial institutions, we return excess earnings to our members in the form of lower interest rates on loans, higher savings and investment yields, and new financial products. Share the wonderful benefits of credit union membership with the people in your life. There's never a cost to join. Our credit union charter allows for a broad membership, including more families and individuals from Southern Erie County. If you live, work, worship, go to school or volunteer in our communities, you are eligible to join right away. If you are a credit union member, your immediate family may also join. This includes your spouse, children, step-children, parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, and grandchildren, as well as household members sharing living expenses with a member.
