Description

Mermaid Classes are beginning to gain momentum as a new fun aquatic way to workout. Conducted at various indoor and outdoor lap swimming pools around Adelaide, the healing embrace of water, provides gentle support for the body, and less impact whilst creating more joint fluidity and flexibility during and after the workout. Monofin/ Mermaiding offers swimmers a total body workout, streamlining their swimming technique, increasing the efficiency of their kick, and toning your glutes, quads and abs. Classes are led by instructor Lisa and her assistant, and are conducted on the edge of the pool deck, warming up with focus on breathing, stretches, core & back safety before entering the water to learn the dolphin style swimming technique. A competent swimming ability is a required as the technique is for deep water and underwater swimming. Monofin/Mermaiding is great for both men & women. Call to book a class today.
