This page represents the genisis of a legend. in 2009, Luke Powell and Jason King explored starting a food truck. this is where they were intoduced to MFU. Then, short for mobile food unit, a health department term. After abandoning the food truck to help open a franchise for a friend, and watching their lives crash a little, fate and circumstance brought Luke and Jason back together.. Big L and Skinny J. Upon reflection, they have realized through years of restaurant experience, most people find their success by mistake. In food service and in life. So was born the new MFU.. Food, Life, Mistakes..
