Master stylist Linda Valenzuela has bounced back and forth between two types of clients: her daily salon clients – the “real” people in her life -- and commercial clients such as glamorous models and actors promoting the fashion or movie industry.. At first, this balancing act seemed ideal as her salon clients kept her grounded and passionate, while the fashion world kept her creative and innovative. As she continued to develop her own distinct professional perspective, Linda’s work began to overlap and the two styles started to fuse. She brought more glamour to the real world and more honesty to the fashion world. Linda soon realized that the products and tools that she used for her commercial clientele were not available to the real people with whom she worked every day. Frustrated by this observation, she wanted to help empower her clients and friends by sharing tricks from the fashion world that would help them be confident and stylish outside of her salon. Through her consulting and teaching network, Linda built relationships that led her to develop her own product line. MIA cosmetics
