Mid Atlantic Insulation (MAI) is a full service insulation contractor offering commercial, industrial, metal building and residential insulation services. With over 35 years of field and management experience, we offer our customers courteous and professional installation of a wide range of products and finishes, and we stand behind those products we sell and install with an extended 18 month warranty. We employee technicians cross-trained in the commercial & industrial insulation fields. Our primary goal is our customers' satisfaction. We believe this is achieved by using high quality products, installed by highly trained, safety conscious technicians. We require all field employees to participate in the personal safety course (s) offered through VA OSHA. MAI maintains a drug free work place. We require a pre-employment drug screening and random checks to insure the work place remains a safe place to work. We perform weekly project safety meetings where various topics pertaining to the employee's protection are discussed. We also enforce monthly equipment checks to include: ladders, scaffolding, personal safety equipment and power tools. We don't and won't cut corners when it comes to safety! Because customer services is our primary goal, we stand ready to respond to your insulation and related needs. Whether it's emergency or last minute changes, we'll be on site, usually within 24 hours or less of your request.

Our Commercial Services Include: Plumbing Piping Process Piping Food & Pharmaceutical Grade Piping Steam & Condensate Piping Chilled Water Piping Glycol & Ammonia Piping HVAC Duct Chillers, Packaged Boilers & Other Equipment MAI installs a wide variety of thermal insulation for commercial systems. We install: fiberglass, elastomeric and various styrofoam and urethane products used for new construction or renovation projects. From plumbing and HVAC duct to refrigerated coolers and blast freezers we have the knowledge and experience to produce a high quality job that exceeds customer's expectation. Our Industrial Services Include: Boiler Piping HP Super Heated Steam Piping Chemical Piping Boilers & Breaching Steam & Gas Turbines Cryogenic Piping Pumps, ID Fans, Tanks & Other Equipment MAI fabricates and installs many products for our industrial customers. We use high temperature and mul-ti layer materials such as: calcium silicate, mineral fiber and ceramic fiber. Along with different finishes for each application. We also engineer and install various heat tracing products for freeze protection and product consistency. Our customers range from electrical power plants, chemical plants and textile mills.
