Welcome to Middleton Technology School, a school that enjoys an excellent reputation as one of the top achieving schools in the country. The school was inspected in November 2006 and was found to be outstanding in every respect. "This is an outstanding school. A visitor is immediately struck by the atmosphere of purposeful enthusiasm that has been created by the head teacher, staff and students, which characterises all aspects of its work." Ofsted 2006 The school was designated as a Technology College in 1995 - the region's first Technology College. Since designation we have gone from strength to strength and now find ourselves with three areas of specialism. Technology, Vocational Education and RATL (Raising Achievement Transforming Learning). Our school community is a caring, friendly one where students learn the self-discipline they need to achieve their personal best. We also offer all our children the opportunity to broaden their interests through a wide range of extra curricular activities. We provide the very highest quality of education for all our students. By blending academic achievement with 21st century technological skills, we enable our young people to leave us with excellent academic and vocational qualifications and high level ICT skills, which makes our students extremely employable and fully equipped to move on to all avenues of further or higher education.
