Professional Kickboxing Association PKA – Fun, Friendly and Safe Martial Arts classes for Juniors in Nottingham and Derbyshire All cllasses are taught and ran by qualified and fully-liscenced PKA coach and instructor, Amie Thacker: I hold a full CRB check, first aid qualification, child safeguarding certificate and martial arts specific insurance. I have been training in kickboxing for five years and have been a black belt for three years. During my time as a black belt, I have been assistant teaching with PKA Ilkeston and Eastwood instructors, Lee and Jo Jones. I have always enjoyed training and would now like to pass on that enjoyment to my own students. Whether looking to boost confidence, get fit and flexible or meet new people, the PKA can help you accomplish your goals and have fun along the way! LITTLE DRAGONS Little Dragons classes are aimed at children who are 4-8yrs. The classes include: Easy-to-learn techniques Teaching of effective basic self defence Structured rewards & grading syllabus Effective ‘learning through play’ activities Teaching of discipline & respect for all Little Dragons kickboxing is a fun way for your child to mix with other children in a safe and controlled environment whilst learning basic martial art and life skills. The upcoming Little Dragons classes are; BREASTON ST. MICHAELS CHURCH HALL Tuesdays 5:00pm - 5:45pm WEST HALLAM COMMUNITY CENTRE Saturdays 10:00am - 10:45am JUNIORS Junior kickboxing classes are for children under 14yrs. There are a wide range of levels in the Junior classes, including many 'graduates' from the Little Dragons classes. We teach juniors basic and advanced techniques and kickboxing skills in a way that does not become boring or repetitive but challenging and exciting. Juniors in this class begin to learn the PKA Grading Syllabus and start to learn Kickboxing Sparring and take part in tournaments and competitions if they wish to do so. We have many juniors in our clubs that have won local & national tournaments. The upcoming Junior classes are; BREASTON ST.
