We will be going to Sedona in a few weeks and will be taking the Octocopter. Stay tuned for hopefully a "stunning" aerial video!

Welcome to the new Mike Peters Photography Facebook page. I'll be posting about projects I'm working on and photos as I travel. I'll also be posting a blog soon about the business of aerial photography/videography. Please note that the old Mike Peters Photography Facebook business page no longer exists.

Lots going on...The number of inquiries into aerial videography has jumped significantly in the last month or so. We have our first commercial shoot this week. It's for a business that has a center in Phoenix. Unfortunately, we won't be able to say who it is for, or share the video... We just purchased a new gimbal for the Octo that can also be used in a handheld mode. We bought the MoVI M10 which is a state of the art, professional level gimbal that will significantly improve our productions and reduce the amount of time spent in post processing. The FAA has announced a proposal for new rules governing the commercial use of drones. Although the proposed new rules are awesome, I'm afraid it may be months or years before they are put into place.
