Miles Yonder is an overseas micro-financing and business consulting firm that assists entrepreneurs in the third world. This business model helps to solve the problem that people have in raising the capital needed to start operations. Our first project in this venture includes us partnering with a non-profit organization in Belize, Iglesia la Verdadera, and an entrepreneur to build and operate a chicken farm. They will be using the chicken farm to raise chickens to make a profit, and also to give back to the organization to fund new projects. Also, the farm will provide others in the community with employment opportunities. The idea is a little like Indiegogo and Kickstarter meet the 3rd world. We find local entrepreneurs who have some, but not all, of the means necessary to get their venture off the ground. They have to bring something to the table that constitutes their risk. They have some of the tools, but not all of them. We bring the rest of the tools they need to get their business off the ground. Their primary need is capital, but the entrepreneur cannot run a crowd-sourcing campaign, so we do it for them; helping others help themselves.
