We strive to integrate students with mental disabilities with the student body by promoting awareness and hosting events to raise funds.
Mind Over Autism is a club that originated at Moscrop Secondary School in Burnaby, B.C. that aims to integrate students who cope with mental disabilities, autism in particular, with the general student society. The club's current endeavour is to fund a scholarship for a prospective post-secondary student who copes with autism and/or other mental disabilities. Additionally, the club has plans to work alongside various organizations including B.C. Children's Hospital and the Canucks Autism Network, to initiate events, and raise funds for those in need of special health care.
