How To Get to MIP Conference

The Roberto Clemente Minority Business Association is excited to introduce the 11th Annual Minorities in Pittsburgh (MIP) Conference, scheduled for January 25, 2013, at the University Club on the University of Pittsburgh, Oakland Campus. This year’s theme is Momentum: Building Lasting Relationships. The goal of MIP 2013 is to serve all conference attendees by providing them with a valuable experience that will last long beyond the one-day conference. MIP will foster the development of students personally and professionally and allow corporations to form lasting relationships with premier talent in Pittsburgh. A successful conference will leave attendees with a more positive outlook on their future possibilities and their place within the professional world. This past January, over 150 students and seventy corporate guests representing over forty organizations came together to experience “The Evolution of Professional Development.” MIP 2013 will continue on this path of excellence and provide you with the opportunity to establish your personal and professional development as you network with top student talent, company representatives, and inspirational speakers. MIP is an exceptional opportunity for corporations to take direct action in the professional development of the talented minority student population in RCMBA, and more than 12 regional universities, including the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, and Duquesne University. With the opportunity to interact through networking lunches and dinners, innovative workshops, and an exclusive career fair, you will meet and recruit the most motivated students in the region. By attending MIP and learning from successful professionals, students will be equipped with the appropriate skill set to reach their greatest potential. These students come from a wide variety of majors and universities and are among the best prospective employees Pittsburgh has to offer. You will have the opportunity to meet students interested in both, full-time positions and internships and in shaping their skills to become the best fit for your company in the future. MIP 2013 will be designed to serve our members, our partners, the University of Pittsburgh community, the Pittsburgh area student population, the corporate world, and eventually the entire world through the contributions and transformation of all who attend. Join us at MIP 2013 to get the ball rolling and build your very own MOMENTUM!
