Mona Mousa And Melanie Dahling have come together this year as a force to be reckoned with and that force, well, her name is Mona Dahling ( think a very british "MONA, DARLING!") First and foremost Mona Dahling is a cereal bar. Picture a small quaint, vintage vibe, cereal bar playing Saturday morning cartoons at all times. What is a cereal bar you may ask? It's simple, choose your cereal, get crazy with unique topping combinations, and choose your milk. Can't think up a combination of your own, well, take a look at our menu, inspired by some of our closest friends. There are options for the vegans and the gluten freezers. This is a place we want you to able to come and eat stress free with all types of friends. Paired with local coffee or beer, Mona Dahling will be a late night venue, with a chill laid back vibe. Drunken debauchery will be left at the door. Mona & Melanie want this to be a room where you can come and do life with your friends, have a unique and affordable first date, or simply come to kick back relax and have some "you time". Not only is Mona Dahling going to be the first cereal bar of it's kind in Manitoba, it will also double as a performance space meant for but not limited to poets and comedians, the kind of performers who find they struggle to keep one location as a forever home. As the team was talking, one a comic and the other a poet, the frustration with the few venues available got the girls thinking.
