Good morning MSD Parents! It's a Snow Day for school today, so we are closed. Stay warm!
Hi MSD Parents! We are about to take our Lost and Found items to Goodwill, and there are SO many beautiful coats and hoodies with no name in them. :( We have them in the Welcome Center, so stop by before this Friday afternoon to take a look. And pass the word to parents you know who are not on Facebook. Please always remember to label everything that comes to school, so when it makes it way to lost and found we can get it back to the right owner. :)
Congratulations to ALL of our 8th graders who got into their first choice for high school! That's right - ALL of them got into their #1! woo-hoo!!! Details will be in the upcoming issue of Montessori Matters.
The note below was sent out to all Lower El parents from a MSD student and we thought all of you might like to read it. Please drop off donations in carline or in a LE classroom if you would like to support her do-good work! Dear Parents, My name is ++ and I am a third year in Anne and Annie's class. My Mom and I celebrate the day we became a family every year. My Mom says on that day we should help other Women and Children that are not as fortunate as we are. I agree. This year, we are doing a donation drive for Gathering Place , a wonderful home that helps women and children that are homeless, so if you could tell your kids to remember about the drive and please donate we need your help! Urgent Items needed: Toilet Paper Peanut Butter Boxed Meals (like Hamburger/Tuna Helper) Dried Beans/Rice Pasta Other items needed are below. My Mom says we should buy organic and low sodium if possible, just like we would feed our own families. There will be a donation box in each Lower EL classroom beginning on Wednesday, February 18th. On Tuesday, March 3rd we will take the donations to The Gathering Place. Thank you for your help.
