From a childhood memory, remembering a time when I made my first bar of lye soap in my chemistry class and then gave it to my mom as a gift. This was over 30 years ago and those memories awaken the passion to make soaps again. MRM Soaping was created from that memory and the acronym MRM represents the initials of my full name and it also captures the initials of both my sons’ first names. MRM Soaping are handmade soaps made from either Glycerin or Goat’s milk soap bases. The soaps are designed in different shapes and color scented with essentials and fragrance oils and are made for various occasions such as holidays, birthdays, weddings, valentines, graduations, or just because. Then, there was DéCoupaging, a therapeutic and quiet an addicting craft, vanishing pictures on wooden boxes, wooden picture frames, glass or just about any surface.
