Description
Throughout the year, the PTO raises funds by hosting a variety of events that will supplement the school’s resources in order to offer our children a well-rounded learning experience. The PTO sponsors social events to bring our families together in a relaxed setting. Moreover, community members embrace our school; their support is demonstrated in numerous ways including providing volunteers and financial support for special activities, and vocally advocating for the important role that our school plays in the vitality of the community. The purpose of the PTO is to support the educational program of the school. This purpose consists of activities which: • Promote the growth, development, and welfare of the students; • Supplement educational, cultural, and social programs offered by the school system; • Encourage a sense of community among its members; • Augment the educational resources and supplies provided by the school system; • Address district, city and state educational issues; • Engage in all other appropriate activities consistent with these goals. The Urology Care Foundation is a dedicated leader in advancing urologic research and education to improve patients' lives. The American Urological Association’s (AUA) Foundation has a new name — the Urology Care Foundation. Our new name emphasizes the care and collaboration that is at the core of the Foundation’s leadership in urologic health. The Foundation is the official foundation of the AUA and was formerly known as the AUA Foundation. Since 1987, our unique relationship with the AUA, an organization of approximately 19,000 urologists, has positioned the Foundation as a leading advocate in urologic health, uniquely qualified to speak on behalf of urology. Although we have a new name, we have a long history. Through the Foundation’s Research Scholars Program, the Urology Care Foundation has provided support to promising young urology researchers for more than 35 years.
