MTA Training & Employment is the key to your career as a: > Motor Mechanic > Diesel Mechanic > Panel Beater > Vehicle Painter > An Auto Parts Interpreter MTA Training and Employment (trading as MTA Group Training Scheme) employs over 450 automotive apprentices in South Australia, across many different trades, making the MTA the largest automotive Group Training Organisation in SA. MTA Apprentices are placed with Host businesses in industry, giving apprentices both the necessary classroom study and invaluable practical experience in a working automotive businesses, all while being employed by the MTA. We provide ongoing, practical support and pastoral care throughout an apprenticeship to give you the best chance of succeeding. Our classroom study is delivered at the MTA's Training & Employment Centre at Royal Park by the MTA RTO, which trains both Industry employed and MTA Apprentices, ensuring that everyone in the industry has access to the same high quality training and facilities we offer.

The automotive industry is a strong and exciting industry to start your career in, with changes in vehicle technology and business practices offering all kinds of exciting opportunities now and into the future As the MTA is the peak body for the industry, MTA Training and Employment delivers to apprentices and trainees high quality, industry developed training that is modern and responsive. We also offer access to employment pathways and support that come from being the South Australian automotive industry's peak body. MTA Training and Employment makes it easy for both MTA host employers and industry apprentice employers because regardless of whether an apprentice is industry employed or MTA employed, apprentices can still access the same high quality training and facilities through the MTA's Training and Employment Centre in Royal Park.
