Today that tradition continues with Bill, Janet and Jill Munro. At Munro's Furnishings, located in Innisfil Ontario. We build furniture to last. You won’t find veneers in our pieces. We use 100% solid Canadian wood. It’s our way of ensuring your furniture stands the test of time and will be around for centuries. All of our furniture is made with hand picked %100 Candian wood. Whether it is maple, oak or pine we continue to pride ourselves on making solid constructed pieces,by paying attention to details such as drawers having dovetailed fronts and backs. Mortise and tenon joints are used in the assembly of case goods such as armoires and night tables. Even the unseen backings on our pieces are made from the same wood used to construct the item itself. Each piece is custom made to a client's specific taste, taking into consideration the client's unique preference for style, such as stain or paints and handle choices. Generally the waiting period is between six to eight weeks. Other product choices are also available at Munro’s by reputable home companies such as upholstery fabrics, bedding, artwork, lighting and retailing other home accent pieces. Some companies include; Superstyle, Perri, Trendline, Dutalier and King Koil.
