In the Summer of 2014 my friend Carl and I were walking along the pier of our home town, Herne Bay, talking about creating a new music development company for talent in the Kent area. We were bouncing ideas off each other and in the midst of all the crazy ideas we stopped by one of the larger retail huts towards the end of the pier and in that moment our Music Studio on the Pier was born. This is our home and we both grew up here and we're confident we know what this area needs and wants. We have found the right place because we know creativity needs inspiration, so the location is perfect. Our Music Studio on the Pier will offer a space for people interested in creative recording projects, with a focus on singing. One of the best benefits to this? Fresh air! When people enter the premise they will see a creative space with a mini lounge, a producers area and a colourful interactive vocal booth as a centre piece. This idea is a new project for us but it is inspired by our record and distribution label where we continuously build an artist community who give exclusive help and support to each other, with their talent and services. This space will also serve as a hub for our label, giving our community an affordable creative outlet. We have been building Inspire U Records for over 6 years now and we are home to several award winning artists and offer free distribution (iTunes) to independent artists www.inspireurecords.com In the Summer, Music Studio on the Pier's main focus is the "Sing-to-Track" product where a customer will record their favorite track in our vocal booth and leave with a printed CD of their performance. They will also have the option to purchase a "Video-to-Track" recording of their vocal performance complete on DVD with professional titles and graphics. This hub will also be used for coaching and recording original projects in the lower seasons with added discounts for locals and Club Inspire U members. These projects will offset the lower season profits when the "Sing-to-Track" offer lacks the tourism trade in the Summer. Our dream is to create “Inspired Communities” who support each other creatively, and to develop our Inspire U Members Club. The benefits from being a member (monthly membership) of Club Inspire U will be free sessions and discounts off all other products.
