Pets, people and wildlife in pastel and graphite. Commissions undertaken.
Commissioning a portrait is an ideal way to mark a special occasion or give the perfect present. I work in pastel or graphite and use acid free, museum quality paper and mounts creating works to your specification. Starting at just £70 for a 8 x 12 inch picture commissioning a portrait may not cost as much as you think.... Please in box me or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.

Well the exhibition was fantastic :-) A total of 9 Ockbrook artists took part and the work on display was fabulous :-) Looking forward to working with the Ockbrook artists again.
With four days to go to the exhibition my lounge walls are looking very bare, however, the floor and the table are not! Roll on Saturday :-)
Just 6 days to go until the exhibition. All involved are working hard to get all their work finished :-)
It is now less than a month away to the Exhibition at the Royal Oak, Ockbrook (29th and 30th June). I am pleased to announce that 7 local artists and photographers have joined me and we are looking forward to a great event - more details to follow :-)
Almost finished the commission of Fred and Smudge - two dogs. Fred is very hairy and difficult to draw! Smudge seemed to appear on the paper before me without much effort at all! Results to be posted shortly....
Very quiet recently because I've been doing some painting of a different kind - namely the lounge/dining room! However starting to feel the need to create so watch this space :-)
The stag picture has now been sold and is on it's way to scotland which seems fitting :-) Check out the web address below - it's my friends' guesthouse and the new home of the stag :-) www.glebehousetyrie.com
Just started a commission of a horse :-) I'm going to airbrush the background in acrylic and use pastel for the horse. Bit nervous because I haven't used my new airbrush yet.... fingers crossed.....I will post the results.
Very excited that I am going to hold my first ever exhibition at The Royal Oak, Ockbrook on 29th and 30th June. Don't forget to put the date in your diary - I'd love to see you.
Five doggy portraits, two cats, gerbils ?!? and one little boy to draw before Christmas - busy then :-)
