It all started as a conversation between two friends over coffee. Michael Goodell’s journey for the perfect cup of coffee began after listening to his friend’s uncertainty in deciding on what kind of coffee to get – would he like the strong notes of coffee beans grown at a certain elevation? Perhaps the beans from Ethiopia would be more to his liking as opposed to a mix from Mexico? It was all too much for one un-caffeinated brain to take on. And so it began. On a quest that led him around the world and through many different fine-tuned recipes, Michael not only found that perfect cup of coffee for his friend (because that’s what good friends do), he also wanted to share this with his community and launched Mykl’s Coffee in 2012 as a micro-roast coffee company dedicated to universally great coffee.
