Hi, I'm Nancy and welcome to my page, I have been a photographer for many years and excel at many photographic genres in particular, weddings, portraiture and commercial. When photographing weddings my style is very documentary with a splash of classic and oodles of creativeness. In my initial consultation with you I find it very helpful to listen carefully about the background story of how you met, your favourite music, colour, tastes etc - all of which helps me greatly to paint a picture in my mind of what I want to create photographically. I'll bring my skill, your story, my top class equipment, your ideas, my enthusiasm, your loves and my passion to craft photographs you can treasure for a lifetime. I genuinely do care about capturing beautiful, evocative images of your special day and I'm totally committed to getting this exactly right for you. Every photographer interprets what they see differently, it's what makes us all unique. I adore colours and textures, delicate make-up, hidden last minute gifts, touching gestures, happy tears, strawberry champagne, proud grandparents, adorable kids, home made table decorations, last minute panics and finding the brides father deep in thought about his speech then spotting me and smiling broadly. You (the bride and groom) don't usually see this, but I do...I feel totally privileged and chuffed to bits that I can capture these fantastic moments for you and I look forward to you getting in touch with me to discuss your arrangements and requirements. I am, so I've been told, a very amiable people-person who was quirky before it became fashionable to be that way inclined and as for photography being in my blood since the year dot...that would be a lie, that honour goes to Stevie Wonder! Nowadays though - I eat, drink, sleep photography and my only regret in life is that I didn't start it while I was very young...but...c'est la vie! To date I have earned a City & Guilds in Digital Photography, I'm also constantly updating my portfolio using new techniques and experimenting with different styles and applying sheer hard work at workshops. I have been featured numerous times in the Lancashire Life magazine and I've also had a photo published by Nike for an advert for the last Olympic Games. I'm the Media Controller & Photo Walks Co-ordinator for Preston Photographic Society and a Wildlife Photographer at Martin Mere Nature Reserve.
