Our official Facebook Fan page will serve as yet another outlet to provide our audience news and information from NAS Fort Worth JRB. The site is produced and maintained by the NAS Fort Worth JRB Public Affairs Office, which is also home of the Sky Ranger, the official base newspaper. As a Joint Reserve Base, we are home to a variety of Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army and Texas Air National Guard units. Established on October 1, 1994 as the first Joint Reserve Base in the country, our mission is to provide unsurpassed support and quality training for our Reserve and Guard "war fighters" in all branches of the Armed Services. Our 10,000 active duty military, Reserve and Guard personnel, and civilian team members work hard to accomplish that mission, and we take great pride in our contributions to national defense and to the community. The Navy Fort Worth "team" ensures that reservists receive quality training in preparation for mobilization readiness. The Joint Base serves the reservists, active duty tenants, and surrounding communities while accomplishing its primary purpose of defense readiness for America. Our primary responsibility is to train and equip air crews and aviation ground support personnel in preparation for deployment.
