It's an understatement to say that I'm passionate about photography. Ever since I picked up a camera, I knew that photography was something I was made to do. Although it's difficult to put into words when people ask me why I love being a photographer, here's my best attempt. Whether it’s a bride and groom, a businessperson, a family, a single mother, a musician, or a homeless person panhandling for money on the street, everyone has a unique story that deserves to be told. And that’s where I come in. I love hearing peoples' stories and helping them tell those stories through photographs. To me, there's nothing more satisfying than capturing an entire story within one photograph. It's why I love doing what I get to do for work as a photographer every day. I always challenge myself to create images that evoke powerful emotions and responses. So when it comes to photographing weddings, there is so much to capture and represent. From the natural beauty of the relationships represented at a wedding to the beautifully and meticulously decorated venues, I love the artistic process of capturing everything on film for people to see, experience, and appreciate once the day is over.
